I didn't buy this from Revain, I bought this from CarID. I thought I was saving money over the OEM Mitsuba starter for my Honda Element, but it ended up costing me more because it failed right out of the box. My old starter was weak but still worked. When I replaced it with this one, the Denso starter turned over every time my battery was connected, regardless of whether the key was in the car or not. I think this is due to a short in the solenoid valve. I removed the Denso, bought another set of gaskets for $40 and installed an OEM Mitsuba starter. After that, my item is like new again with no problems for the last week. Spend more on an OEM starter and save money in the long run!
