Edit: This is best applied new and "fresh". Before playing on carpeted floors I have to pre-apply it and it usually works well. I've noticed him "notice" a few times, but I think it's more from the excitement than anything else. So far it seems to be working fine. Works well for urination but has mixed results with poop
