
They worked great. I made 47 Thanksgiving cakes and they helped keep the crust from getting too brown. However, if it gets dirty, it's baked in silicone and won't come off. My cherry tarts were so swollen that the filling hit the shield, turned black and got stuck inside. I've tried soaking them, cleaning them to no avail, they look dirty but aren't, they still work.
