Review on Painless Learning Hebrew Alphabet Placemat by Mido Taylor

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Useful learning tool

A really great laminated doily to help with learning the Hebrew alphabet. The colorful carpet features animals and objects written in Hebrew and English to help with pronunciation. The back of the mat is just letters that need to be traced or colored in, maybe with dry erase markers which I haven't tried so not sure if that will work. Teachers may want to set it up in the classroom. I got it myself as I'm recently learning the Hebrew alphabet and it's a great guide to learning the subtle differences in similar letterforms like bet, kaf and nun which look very similar to the untrained eye, or heh, thet and tav. looks like it too. Hebrew is the alphabet of creation and conveys the beauty of the divine feminine and masculine. Each letter has a deep Gnostic meaning worth exploring. So yes, this rug is great for kids, but I found it quite useful in its simplicity!

Pros
  • Fully laminated
Cons
  • So far so good
