Good product for kitchen and dining room

As with my other review of the aleph beis placemat, it is waterproof. The letters are big, bold, and colorful, but like other rugs, they lack the basic letters that are important for learning. The letters beis, kof, vide and tov as well as all last letters are missing. This is a low quality product.

Pros
  • Measures 12" x 17"
Cons
  • No paint required

Handy dandy for disposable tablecloths

This tray I ordered was to help me learn the Hebrew alphabet. The table where I eat and study is prominently displayed and holds the letters right in front of me. This position helps me practice when I'm studying and drinking tea or coffee. The carpet is colorful and contains the letter fbs. There is also a clue word with sound and spelling. It is a useful and valuable addition to my Hebrew studies.

Pros
  • Educational
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very good to have - often used

On the back of the table only the letters are outlined in black - no writing - so you can read them by heart. A friend and I hold a chart in front of us while listening to an AlephBet series on Hebrew letters. (It would be nice if there was another version of this chart, showing the meaning of the letters in the Torah, such as sword, axe, or weapons for Zain, rather than Zebra.) The chart is handy, large enough, and great for repeating letters each Today I use transparent film over letters when

Pros
  • Napkins are easy to clean with a damp cloth
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Useful learning tool

A really great laminated doily to help with learning the Hebrew alphabet. The colorful carpet features animals and objects written in Hebrew and English to help with pronunciation. The back of the mat is just letters that need to be traced or colored in, maybe with dry erase markers which I haven't tried so not sure if that will work. Teachers may want to set it up in the classroom. I got it myself as I'm recently learning the Hebrew alphabet and it's a great guide to learning the subtle…

Pros
  • Fully laminated
Cons
  • So far so good
