Wrap the thread around the handle and it stays in place.
I used to have 3 flosses and they all broke after using them for a few months and I had to struggle to find something similar. The set of ten I just bought is a bit smaller, but the floss tying handle holds the floss in place well so it doesn't come loose when passing between clenched teeth. I don't know how long they last before one of the levers breaks due to thread tension. But there are 10 in a pack.
