Great for tight spaces when you want to use traditional closet networking gear

I didn't have much room in my utility closet at my old house. The vertical rather than horizontal orientation allowed me to use traditional network equipment without taking up as much horizontal space. I used the following components with the stand and they worked great: Monoprice Keystone Connector Panel, 24 Ports Cable Matters® 25-Pack Cat6 RJ45 White Keystone Connector, and Keystone Punch-Down Leviton Stand 41106-RW6 Voice Class QuickPort Connector, White TP -LINK TL-SG1016 10/100/1000Mbps 16-Port Gigabit Switch 17.3" Rackmount 32Gbps Smart App Sine Wave UPS 500VA 400W SNMP/HTTP 1U Rack/Tower NavePoint Cantilever Server Shelf Ventilated Rackmount Shelves 19" 1U Black 8" (210mm) GearIt 10 Pack Deep Cat 6 Cat6 Snagless Patch 1.5ft Ethernet Cable - Black Pros: - Sturdy construction. Virtually does not bend after installing 4 screws on the sides. Mounts on standard 16" center wall studs Note. The rack is 19 3/4" wide from outside edge to outside edge. - Beautiful, slightly structured surface. - Supplied with mounting screws and captive nuts. The screws are fitted with plastic washers to avoid scratching the rack finish. I attached the NavePoint shelf to the studs above the rack to hold the modem and router. Cons: Since all the Ethernet and RG6 cables are hanging under the rack, I had to worry about strain relief, especially where I rolled the extra cable under the rack. Cable Matters® Cat6 RJ45 Keystone Connectors do not have a strain relief slot, so the weight of the cables depends on the cores being stamped. Next time I will use Monoprice Cat6 Punch Down Keystone Jacks (105384) because they have slots for zip ties.
