Great product, works great. To update!. We already have this thermometer and have been using it for a few months so wanted to update our review. It worked great, no problem. We've used it in a variety of ways since purchasing it. Of course we have used it in many different ways for cooking, also we have used it to check the true temperature of our grill as grill thermometers are never accurate. Now I know the grill temperature by sticking a probe in a small hole in the grill and I know the true overall temperature of the grill compared to a grill thermometer. We used it to test the water in the bathroom, we also use it to test the soil temperature in our garden in spring, this ensures the soil temperature is suitable for planting. Only this morning I found out why our cucumbers sprout and grow so slowly, the soil temperature is much lower than they need. Great multifunction thermometer!
