Part fits and works exactly for the electric door lock it replaces. However, the replacement process was complex, requiring many steps and a lot of thinking about how everything would fit together after replacing the old one. The cams, levers and cable routing required a lot of work to complete the installation, although lots of photos were taken and lots of YouTube videos watched. The replacement of the first took about two hours due to a lack of familiarity with the mechanics of the inner door, and the installation of the second took about 40 minutes. I reckon I saved a few hundred bucks compared to fixing the store's electric door lock and if you like tinkering it's worth it. .
