Trust me! If you want to repair it once instead of every 6 months, buy the original product. Don't go for the cheaper option, switching once is bad enough. I made the mistake of buying an aftermarket product that was cheaper, had good reviews, and was forced to replace it after only 6 months (as others have said in their reviews). If you're looking for instructions on how to replace a part, I recommend watching some YouTube videos and doing some research online. This part is fairly easy to access (behind the car stereo for a 2012 F-150). These are screws that are painful to remove, especially if you have large hands. just be patient I am not a professional or mechanic. Took me about 1 hour to swap out the part and put everything back together. Although I've had this product for a little over a month, I'll try to update my review in a few months.
