Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Ringside 65-pound Powerhide Body Snatcher Soft Filled Punching Heavy Bag by Byron Howell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Is this the same Ringside Body Snatcher Bag as before?

I wonder if the design and quality of this bag has changed in recent years? The old Ringside Body Snatcher Bag appears to have had a little more shape and durability - not unlike the current Title Body Snatcher Bag. The newer one (pictured above and with the white Ringside logo) looks slightly amorphous. I ordered it because it was cheaper than usual with Prime shipping ($116) but I was disappointed with the lack of shape of the bag. The material inside the bag doesn't seem to fill out the casing, so hitting the bag will leave dents in the filling (while the outer casing comes back). This means hitting the same spot on the bag will result in hitting the outer shell with a sort of delayed impact on the material inside. This leads to a feeling of extreme dissatisfaction (i.e. there is no "pop" in the beat). Compared to my heavy 100lb Outslayer bag, the Ringside Body Grab Bag is a little too soft and fluffy. No feedback. Maybe I just received a defective bag or the quality has gone down. I also have an aqua training bag (12" and 21") and it compares a lot better (as long as it doesn't freeze). I train in my garage and it's below freezing causing the Aqua bag to hard/freeze (and hurt my ankles) so I've invested in a Ringside Body Snatcher bag; However, the latter left me extremely disappointed and underwhelmed, and I return it. Also, along with other reviews, I must add that the body snatcher bag is not packaged well when shipped. The chain attached to the bag was a bit rusty but still functional. It's an 80lb bag so there aren't many other shipping options.
