I had high hopes for this lighter. It worked for a good two weeks. Then danger is danger. I left it on the charger very carefully as instructed and watched closely for overcharging. Last time I used it I charged it below max, went to light a candle and there was no spark from the little pins on top. Instead, smoke and sparks began to escape through the cracks in the case near the switches, along with acrid vapor. The case got VERY hot when I ran to the sink, dropped it and poured water on it for several minutes to prevent it. Terrible risk and dangerous product.
