Review on 🔧 Black Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly by Dorman 419-300 for Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth Models by Charlie Clayton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great.: Belts, hoses and pulleys

Works great now. Time will be the real test. Too early to give five stars. The belt runs straight through the center of the pulley as it should. If your belt runs close to the edge of the tensioner, the tensioner will be out of alignment due to wear and you risk tearing the belt. This means harder steering due to power steering pump failure and overheating due to water pump failure. Much cheaper to replace this than pay for towing. You'll need a long extension or several connected together and a ratchet universal joint to get there from the back (about 24 inches). Have upgraded my rating to 5 stars. I've been using this product for a while and it still works great. I highly recommend you add this product to your tensioner to prevent the belt from breaking off the tensioner: Chrysler, especially if you get stuck in a large puddle of water. I bought this and installed it on my 2000 Town and Country 3.8L. The Revain website says it doesn't fit the 2000 T&Cs, but it does. Here is a link to an external website. Fit Demo: [.] You can also call Dorman to confirm fit, but mine is on and works great. That should have been included from the factory.
