Stable carrying, please check the length of the distance between the front and rear legs before buying.

The dog carrier itself is quite sturdy, with a Velcro strap used to adjust the fit for your dog. The only complaint brought up by some other users is the length of the leg holes. We have a Havanese of around 7 or 8 pounds (since our last vet visit) and we got a medium sized carrier for dogs up to 9 pounds. It's too long to fit in the middle. Be sure to check your dog's length against the distance between the front and back leg holes as stated on the stretcher (I'm not sure how many inches it will be) as this was our mistake in purchasing.
