I wasn't expecting anything special for the price. They made a small upgrade to my old D-Link DIR-655 router, but it wasn't that great. However, I replaced it with an ASUS RT-A66U, which is much better and has a stronger signal than D-Link with or without antennas. I haven't tried ASUS yet. Also, they are ridiculously large. I think if you're having serious problems with Wi-Fi, this probably isn't the solution. Do a little reading and make sure you place your router in the best possible spot and point the antennas properly. Experiment a little and use the online speed test to see if you can improve. If that doesn't work, you probably just need a better router.
