Review on 🔧 Enhanced-Performance SHIMANO Single-Speed Freewheels by Brian Samuel

Fits my Wally-Mart Kent Thruster 700 Fixie. I like the 16 tooth rev increase. compared to 18T but I'm very glad it's flat here. It's so quiet here that I now need to ring the bell to warn passers-by that I'm coming. The click of inertia is almost imperceptible, if you hear anything at all. The 18 tooth Chinese freewheel it came with didn't have a gear to turn it because the dimples are so shallow. I've read of others cutting into it with a chisel and then hitting it counter-clockwise with a hammer. The first thing I found was a punch (with nails to be exact) and I was able to pull it out without breaking it, but I still don't think I would use it again. Shimano is too good and not expensive.
