Review on Capacitive Touchscreen Bluetooth Navigation Receiver by Mike Bogan

Does what it's supposed to, but.

In terms of features, connectivity and overall functionality, I have to give this product more than 4 stars. But despite the built-in equalizer and "volume" function, the sound quality is mediocre to poor, especially on the bottom. Its performance is limited because when you try to adjust the bottom two bands of the EQ, you move one slider scale and the other goes down to compensate. So technically, the "custom” section of the equalizer is NOT fully customizable. To be honest if you hooked up a subwoofer to this thing it would be a little better, maybe even better than OK. When I first turned it on and it started playing music with no EQ settings, the sound was so terrible that the first thing I tried was to change it. Very flat. I replaced an 8 year old Pioneer head unit with this one which had much better sound quality with my aftermarket speakers. Of course, the "boot" time is a bit annoying, but after a few weeks of trying to improve the sound, I'm returning the device. Your call. If you can fit a subwoofer (not an option for me) then you'll probably like the unit.
