I have used this to test some UVC lamps which I also bought online. The Coospider UV lamp I bought registered 3000 on this meter and when it was blocked by glass the reading dropped to 0. So they checked each other. The only bad thing about this meter is that the detector isn't in a stick, so the only way I was able to safely measure UV was to cut out a piece of cardboard to confine the light inside, and then the supplied UV light and the box on it. Part of the meter detector but still allows me to see the meter reading.
