Review on 🐠 Eshopps AEO19085 Aquarium Float Valve for Water Pump by Christine Cepeda

Lots of height adjustments and a small float. Easy adjustment of the suspension and secure attachment to the pallet. Very well made and designed. I don't have much space in my sump, which was good since it's small. I didn't use the drain hose that came with the kit (very cheap hose). I used the Home Depot ¼ inch plastic tubing that came from my reverse osmosis filter and put teflon tape on the fitting, no leaks. This valve is mounted 2 inches above my waterline for safety. If my electric valve is left open, it will turn off the reverse osmosis water when the water in the sump rises 2 inches. I turned it off when there was water, I used my hand, it shut off the water perfectly, no leaks. Works great with a refill tank with a "minimum water capacity" or a backup safety system for a reverse osmosis system. Nothing can be trusted without a backup as everything mechanical will fail sooner or later. This valve shuts off the water mechanically much like the old float valves in the bathroom stool and has no electrical shut off or switch.
