Checked by a professional chef after the first use.

Beautiful packaging. Nice grip. Full shaft with excellent flex. Unfortunately the blade is too thin. The knife is very light and needs to be sharpened before use. Oddly enough, it looks sharp right out of the box, but when you use it, it cuts horribly. I'm a professional chef and wanted something I could leave at work and not get too upset about when it goes away. Update of our rental knives. So I'm writing this the day after I first used it in the kitchen. My finger still hurts. The blade at the base is too thin and digs into the base of the finger. As a chef with 20 years of experience, a callus has long since grown in this area to protect my finger. This knife overcame that. He weighs. Too easy. Cutting cauliflower was a chore. However, the cutting of the steaks was decent. As a kitchen knife I took a three.
