I bought these to hold up the porch curtains. When the wind increases, the curtains fly and can injure a passerby. The idea behind the bungee was to keep them in place without causing extra work when they needed maintenance or adjustment. However, the teeth in this little clamp just wouldn't hold once you went over 10 pounds of force. The cord went through them and nearly gouged my eye out.
