Review on 🎿 Ultimate Ski Car Rack: Aluminum Universal Roof Carrier for 6 Pairs Skis or 4 Snowboards, Compatible with Most Vehicles' Cross Bars by David Estevez

Not very suitable, cheap plastic fittings.

It may work for what I need it for, but it's not an easy fix. Pros: - Cheap - Poles look strong enough. Not very good: - Hardware that attaches to the crossbar, made out of cheap plastic. It kind of defeats the purpose of a locking system where someone could just cut through the plastic with a small pair of wire cutters or bolt cutters. "Universal fit" is in quotation marks. If your bars have a profile (think teardrop shape) they will be difficult to install and provide stability without purchasing additional hardware. The screws for attaching the plastic to the crossbar are unnecessarily long up to the vulnerable point. scratching the hood of my Outlander when they move. And a shift seems likely. See point above. After all, I didn't want to shell out $300 for my manufacturer's OEM product and you get what you pay for. But I'll probably have to spend another 20-30 bucks and swear half a day to make it work. If the profile of your crossbars is oval instead of teardrop shaped, you might be fine. But don't assume your gear is securely strapped to the roof in an unguarded parking lot. This plastic is a joke.
