We've always had slow cookers and they all have problems. We chose Black and Decker mainly because we have a 23 year old food processor from them that continues to perform better than the one we are buying to replace. ! This slow cooker doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some people have, but it works very well. The temperature control is great! Warm actually keeps food warm rather than cooking it, and there's a real difference between low and high cooking temperatures. It's also well built and reliable. We are very happy with this purchase!
