If you're looking for a professional tool, keep looking. This set is for the home. It serves its purpose but is more of a warning system than an actual measurement time. Every time I touch it I get different readings from the same live wire. Sometimes it's high, sometimes it's average, but at least it's alarming every time. I can never be sure what power level the line is, but at least I know it's hot. That was the reason I needed it. We are doing some updates and when replacing electrical plugs I wanted to make sure they are actually turned off before touching them. It has served this purpose perfectly. The pliers are ok, but not the best. They work but require a lot more effort than some of the better pairs. I would put tape on the handles to make them more comfortable to hold and not slip when in use. Overall, they get the job done and are very easy to use. If you've never used a multimeter before, you'll love this one. Great onboarding tools, especially if you don't plan on using them often but want to have them on hand just in case.
