Review on ACDelco 15235418 Original Equipment Control by Erik Barela

I ordered this product from Revain to replace a failed BCM in my Aztek. I got the impression that when "NEW" was written it was a new part. I asked a mechanic friend of mine to install it as it wasn't an easy task. It took about 3.5 hours to disassemble the console and install the new BCM. I then drove the car to the dealer to have the new BCM programmed which can only be programmed once! The dealer told me the BCM was already programmed with information about another car and they could only unlock the radio. The airbags don't work now as apparently something was wrong with that part when it was removed from another Aztec. Long story short I paid $180 for a used part and another $150 for the dealer to try and program it plus $200 for my mechanic friend to replace it and my car has always been not repaired yet!
