Review on ☕️ Gevi 12-Cup Programmable Drip Coffee Maker with Reusable Filter, Keep-Warm Function, and Automatic Shut-off by Teresa Presha

Nice Car: Kitchen and Dining Room

I used a very basic DeLonghi car and wanted to upgrade it. I had never heard of Gevi but obviously they make a lot of these machines so I took a chance. The espresso maker is easy to use, has a highly visible water tank and an automatic shut-off for a shot or two. The steamer/frother does not froth the milk, it vaporizes it. I use a separate foaming agent. I know that a cappuccino needs milk that is half steamed and half frothed, but that's too much effort for a cup. I only have one complaint and that is the filter holder. The filter (I always use a double) is inserted into a slot in the holder which has a dimple to hold it in place. This dimple is not visible from above, only through a tiny slit on the side. The filter is difficult to rotate and very difficult to align properly to remove the filter from the bracket. I solved this problem by sanding the easily visible triangular area at the top of the filter and using my fingernail to position it correctly. It may be minor, but not everyone has a small coffee grinder.
