multipurpose! suitable for spare parts
I used this item to create a place to install and power the GPS system and DVR. I also added a power switch and mounted the device upside down through the headliner into the truck's structural roof brace. The ports on the back (in my case) allow me to remove devices and control power consumption when left unattended. The wiring was tight, but it worked. Overall very happy with the install and would buy again.
