I used this product to install USB plugs and power my Garmin fish finder on my Hobie Compass kayak. Great product, good quality and very easy to install.

A good solid product. Some are cheaper on eBay but not the best. It's reliable, smart and easy to use. Crimp the wire into the supplied spade connectors and you're good to go. Good solid body.

Pretty well done. Good price. I like blue halos. I hooked mine up to "Power with a Key" to keep the halo lights from draining the battery as my trucks often sit idle for weeks.

My motorhome, which is otherwise well equipped for dry camping, only has a 12v socket. This allowed me to add one where there wasn't room for a flush mount outlet, and it also has the bonus of USB charging ports. I hate ANYTHING that drains my battery. in the end it adds up. So I'm just going to attach a switch to turn it off completely when I'm not using it.

I used this item to create a place to install and power the GPS system and DVR. I also added a power switch and mounted the device upside down through the headliner into the truck's structural roof brace. The ports on the back (in my case) allow me to remove devices and control power consumption when left unattended. The wiring was tight, but it worked. Overall very happy with the install and would buy again.

I used this in place of the cassette deck on my 00' Tahoe. I pulled out the inside of the tape deck and then added a thin piece of black painted plywood in front of the frame which I remade. I drilled holes for two connectors and then connected them to the back of the cassette deck where the wiring harness connects. I connected the black wire to ground and then connected the hot wire to the ignition so they turn off unlike the factory outlets.

Installed on my boat helm and works well so far. It's only been a week. You need basic electrical wiring knowledge. You need to assemble the cables yourself. It is possible to connect each side separately to a 12V source or together in parallel. It comes with connectors and 2 screws. no wire Wire if you know what you're doing. The two supplied screws are not strong enough. They broke when I used my screwdriver on them. I used my own stainless steel screws (much better anyway). You need to drill

Installed in my polyurethane truck to reduce clutter and increase utility. The device comes with connectors for cables, but without wiring. I used 14 gauge wire with the connectors that came with it and used a wire stripper/plier tip to attach the connector to the cable, which allowed for more crimping power. The device is made of durable plastic, but it's open at the bottom - not waterproof. The jars are plastic with a plastic nut for attachment. A nut was too big and couldn't fix the USB…
