These look just like the photo. What I like is that the fabric is a sort of slightly stretchy polyester/nylon that holds its shape and size well, but also "falls out" a bit when tested by a very active little boy. It has a small side pocket on the outside and built in mesh "panties" (is that what the panties are called in boys' swim trunks?). The legs are long enough to keep everything covered and comfortable, but not so long as to spank the thigh or knees. With well constructed and durable fabric and an adjustable waistband (drawcord inside), I can see they will last more than a season.
