Review on Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite International by Jeffrey Johnston

Hello, I was a religious iPhone user up until the iPhone 6 which, contrary to what iFans claims, has become complete garbage. I had to reinstall the operating system several times until I discovered a hidden problem with this phone: a measly 1 gigabyte of RAM. That's when I decided to try Android. It was the OnePlus 3 for $399. It was twice the size of a half price phone. 3x the RAM, twice the storage, and I had an amoled screen long before crApple offered it. I never looked back I upgraded to the OnePlus 6T and before anyone else I had an under-screen fingerprint scanner and a tiny notch. Everything was going smoothly until I traded it in for a OnePlus 9 from T-Mobile. It claimed to have a much better camera but came with a lousy camera. Software. To make matters worse, the SnapDragon 888 combined with 5G has something that makes the phone unsuitable in summer climates almost anywhere. Let me be clear: all phones can and will overheat in certain situations. OnePlus 9 overheats in almost every situation. I only had this heavy piece of junk for 3 months before submitting it to eBay. So, now that I've tried reliable Chinese "direct" phones - can I finally try a Xiaomi phone? I bought Redmi Note 7 for my niece and Redmi Note 8 for a friend but I never bought it for myself. There is reason to hesitate. No, none of that Chinese propaganda nonsense that Trump has been spreading. This is because the phones need to be supported by your carrier (Verizon, T-Mobile, ATT). Just because you like a phone doesn't mean it supports the bands (channels) offered by your carrier. Some phones look great on paper but support very few communication channels, meaning you'll be the king of missed calls. the areas it supports. Luckily I have already done this for you and I will say that this Xiaomi phone supports most of T-Mobile's 4G offerings. Other Xiaomi phones usually support less and I would advise you to avoid them. This Mi 11 Lite does not support 5G. The 5G variant only supports one 5G band (out of 4). So why did I buy THIS phone from a T-Mobile user? Well, ask yourself: do I really need 5G? If so, then there's the Mi 11 Lite 5G (for a little more money), but it doesn't fully support 5G. So why buy a phone that can get pretty hot for a feature you might not even need? You see, I'm not a phone freak. I just want a cheap phone that works well overall. I'm not a gamer. I'm not a videographer. If you're like me you want a budget phone that takes good photos, has a good screen, lasts all day on one charge, and is fast enough. THIS PHONE PERFORMS ON ALL THESE FRONTS and has some pretty impressive 4G support in the Los Angeles area. An added bonus is that this phone is also LIGHTWEIGHT. Holding the OnePlus 9 in your hands was like picking up a beer mug. This phone is so light you might fear it's hollow. I'm not joking. The only downside to this phone is the software. Xiaomi has a way of releasing so many phones that there are no software updates for them. THIS PHONE CURRENTLY DOES NOT SUPPORT "HEY GOOGLE" WHEN YOUR PHONE IS SLEEPING. I'm sure they'll claim otherwise (since all phone manufacturers love to make "you" a problem), but it just doesn't work on my phone or my wife's phone. Maybe they fix it, maybe not. However, at this price point, you have practically nothing to lose. Revain offers free returns. You have nothing to lose by trying this phone. So try it.
