Review on πŸ”§ Amazon Basics 10-Inch (250mm) Locking Adjustable Wrench: Versatile Tool for Various Repair and Maintenance Tasks by Ryan Brunson

Looks very well made, accurate, easy to adjust, lock and remove

I have many adjustable wrenches of all sizes hanging from my tool bars but this is my first Revain Basics and my first locking wrench. I have to say I'm very impressed with it. The screw turns really easily (at least when new) and leaves little to no play on the teeth to move the jaw. I really like that this jaw has precise measurements, a scale of 1.25 inches on one side and 35 cm on the other, and an arrow showing the current position. It is very thin and easy to attach and just as easy to detach. He's pretty powerful, like a wrench. Feels like a piece of metal but is well made. The locking mechanism is very thin. Enough to hold the nut in place when you tighten the bolt all the way. But it only closes slightly when pushed to lock, so it doesn't matter unless you actually set the screw properly. But locking and unlocking the right size between uses is enough to keep it from slipping off the nut. This is especially useful due to the weight of medium or larger sized wrenches like this when working at an angle where you can easily slip off the nut. But if you expected it to shorten the gap between the jaws and snap more like some other locking wrenches (which aren't otherwise very adjustable), that's not the purpose of this type of fine-adjustable wrench. You know the size when you order, 10 inches. So you understand that this is not a small wrench. Personally, I'd also like a smaller version of this as it's slightly larger than my typical wrenching applications.
