My husband has been an excellent repair and maintenance man for over 30 years doing electrical work at our house and has spent literally 100 hours fixing plumbing problems, installing new sinks or finding/closing leaks dig/fix our plumbing 3/ 10 km to home. So what can be difficult when installing this filter system? He spent 3-4 days and made 3 trips to Lowe (50 miles RT) for parts. Installation seemed easy at first until he turned on the water. It happened in many places. Part didn't fit our plumbing (which is standard) hence the trips to Lowes. Being a super caretaker and great at renovating houses, he stuck with it out of sheer ego and determination. As a result, a filter system was installed. We have paper towels around and under the connectors to check for leaks. Once he was happy with the installation and the system was flushed, we thought the water was amazing! This is so much better than any municipal, store-bought, filtered tap water, fridge-filtered, or bottled water I've ever tried.
