Review on Baldwin B2 Lube Spin-On Filter (Pack of 2) – Enhance Engine Performance with Ease by James Trapkin

We have a 15kw diesel generator set in our remote Canadian Fisherman's Cabin in Canada that runs 24 hours a day. lubrication problem. With this thing fitted with a reliable Kubota diesel engine and running 24/7 for 10 days, I want to believe it won't let us down. I've been using Baldwin filters for several years and they work great and do the job. Originally the factory filters were shorter Fleetguard filters which were fine, but the dealer made us go from about 3" to about 4" length filters so we could use a bit more filter material. I've now switched to these B2 filters with the exact same canister diameter, threads, seal and internal valve BUT it's twice the length and offers more filtration. More square inch = less garbage collected in 10 days per square inch and therefore better filtration. This is based on over 20 years of experience with these units and multiple generators with over 24,000 hours each. Just make sure you choose the right filter for your application and Baldwin won't let you down!
