These look great, were easier to install than the typical Shimano set up, and they bedded in just fine. In cold weather, they've been great. But there were a couple of days this summer--about midway through my ride or in the middle of the downhill--and all of the sudden the brakes weren't working right, and they didn't work right for the rest of the ride. In hindsight, I am pretty sure they just got too hot. My brakes need the Shimano ice set up; these don't look like they will cool off as well, but they do look hella cool as they match the bike perfectly.
