This liquid is nothing short of amazing at stopping rust and creating a black finish on rusted metal that can be painted over if necessary. A word of caution, I would wear some sort of latex gloves when using this product. When applied to bare skin, it turns everything it touches into a black color that cannot be removed. I used this fluid to restore a rare car and used almost two gallons on the frame and internal body panels which were sandblasted. As far as I know the rust never came back, that was 30 years ago.
