I bought this for my lovely husband who is nice but a little absent-minded about where he puts his phone. That works great. In fact, it protrudes from the part of the phone that is underneath the case, and the small part that attaches to the "leash" protrudes from the case, making it very secure. That way he doesn't have to put it in his pocket and when it rings he can pick it up. He left his last phone on the roof of his car and we lost it on the interstate while driving at 60 miles an hour. The phone was a total loss and this will prevent it completely. I've tried several other devices of this nature over the years and this is the best I've found. Looks good and seems very comfortable to him. I can hang one on my phone because I can always keep the strap on when he's not wearing it around his neck. Sometimes I don't want to take my handbag with me and I only have money and a credit card in my pocket. I don't want to be walking around with my phone all the time. It feels sturdy and I won't lose my phone and is handy in the shop.
