The jack is raised, but not quite. Watch the video in my review. There is air in the system preventing the jack from fully retracting. You can tell it's air and not oil because I can step on it with a lot of weight and the piston will retract until I release my foot. Then the piston moves out again, as can be seen in the video. The valve is open the required 2 turns. The socket is currently unusable. UPDATE: I am changing my rating to 4 stars due to the excellent customer service I received from this supplier. I contacted them first and got a video showing me how to bleed the air. It worked except some oil came out with the air. They sent me an oil change chart with the caveat that if it wasn't fixed. they would replace it. Well I received a replacement by air from China yesterday and the new one works as advertised. I would not hesitate to purchase another product from this seller as they provide great customer service!
