My turtle is used to pellets, vegetables and fruit. I've had him for several years now. The turtle cannot bite him. This block is hard and huge, should I break it into smaller pieces? Is it attractive to turtles? No not at all. If you need to supplement your pet's diet, do not use this product, your pet may not even come close and may not be able to bite.
