This is a good hard drive, but you're likely to get a used/'refurbished' hard drive, new or not. Use a SMART tool like CrystalDiskInfo to ensure that the hours of use are not too long (preferably less than a year) and that there are no reallocated or pending sectors (CrystalDiskInfo usually flags these in yellow, not blue).
