If you are building a new computer, then it would be better, of course, to look towards PCI-E 4, because the trio is yesterday, and on Windows 11 the difference will become quite obvious. But, if the motherboard only supports PCI-E 3, as in my case, then you can safely take it: this SSD will be enough for the rest of the life of the existing hardware.
