Review on Enhanced Memorex Personal Player Anti-Skip Technology: Enjoy Smooth Playback on the Go by Keith Alvord

It is very difficult to find a personal CD player that works well. This one is VERY easy to miss (even when sitting on a flat surface) so it's not very portable. I think something on the mode button is causing it to do something I don't want it to do, but the writing on the mode indicator is so small it's almost invisible. This is my biggest complaint because I think it would work better if I could customize it. There shouldn't be many of us who want to listen to CDs without downloading them to the device, otherwise we would be better off opting for personal players. I love listening to books on CDs while walking or gardening. I think this player has given me more trouble than joy. I bought it in March and it's still working (sort of) but I think it's lasted this long because most of the time it doesn't work satisfactorily and I'm giving up in desperation.
