I have previously purchased a 4Knines hammock and have been very happy with the product. The design is thought through to the smallest detail, the quality is excellent. Not so with the door guards from 4Knines. My car is a 2013 Mazda CX-5. The tabs that slide into the door don't hold the protective pads in place... not at all. The pads fell off during installation. What the hell? The lugs are too short, too flexible and too thin to fit snugly against the glass. Velcro straps are provided but this is unacceptable to anyone (at least 95% of us), raising concern that permanent adhesive is left in four places along the top of each door. The price of around $80 for four pads is too high for a product with no customization options as this item needs to fit an endless array of car makes and models. Why not provide sticky pads to thicken the tabs to accommodate the inevitable difference in window clearance between different vehicle makes and models? It should also be possible to remove the part of the panel covering the door handle and door locks. This section can be fitted with a handy velcro strap so it can be removed and also reused. With these two simple devices, this product costs almost eighty dollars. Unfortunately, these items will be returned. Very disappointed.
