I was introduced to this line by a hydrobiologist from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Energy. He transports living samples from the Owens Valley to a laboratory in Sylmar for analysis. This device kept trays of food warm until dinner was served. After dinner, the leftovers were placed back in the carrier with half a tray filled with ice to cool it all down. It cooled to a safe temperature and stayed there until brought to lunch the next day. All hospitality workers were amazed at how well he did his job. I plan to buy another unit from next year's budget - that's very good money.
