Sharpening stones require precise skill and a keen eye. It's not something you just use like the edge smoothers you see in most restaurant kitchens. Sharpening stones are the only way to get the perfect blade. Only buy if you are willing to put in the effort to use it. Otherwise, you can just buy an edge smoother.
