The 60Hz backlit strobe is great for gaming at 60fps.
The backlight strobe modes are amazing. I've been waiting for a monitor that can flash the backlight at 60Hz. Movement is crystal clear. I was concerned that grazing the 60Hz backlight would give me a headache, but with some bias lighting this wasn't an issue for me. I might also be one of the lucky few who don't have issues with lower backlight strobe rates.
