I also have Firstsurge whole house protection and the quality of this coax protection is a joke in comparison. The coaxial cable is of very poor quality. Neither end is properly bolted to the tread. The thread is too big. The supplied ground wire is too short. The device doesn't work, or should I say my fios doesn't work when the device is installed and I've tried installing the cables both ways. Seeing another 140,000 amp protection doesn't inspire confidence.
