Terrible optical quality
I bought this just to check. It's garbage. If it had an EN397 rating it would be 1/3/3/3. The lens is of such poor quality that if you are using it for welding and are NOT someone who welds every day to get food on the table you will impede your ability to learn if you do so. Three welds made and thrown in the trash. Stick with the cheap Tradesman ADC you want for under $100.
