Definitely not heavy duty! We used this leash literally 3 times after it was received and it ripped or snapped where the sewing was at.

If I had thought about it I would have checked to see if there was any type of warranty or return policy but I was so frustrated and disappointed at the moment that I threw it in the trash! My dog is a 10 month old pit bull who weighs about 35 pounds so I would only recommend this leash for smaller dogs like Chihuahuas and Corgis. Definitely will not buy for my dog again!
