I installed this on my 1992 ONAN Emerald Plus Flair Rv, BGE Spec J. Alternator. Worked the first time, fired up quickly. I turned it off and later started it and it broke a gear or shaft end, now I have to take it off to see what exactly is broken and then move on. I think I can order the parts that broke my original onan starter, the same parts I think broke this brand new block. I hope you can send me a new or repair kit for it free of charge. The problem is that I have to unbolt the alternator again and slide it to one side, which means I have to lift it up and work in tight spaces. I'm sure I can do it faster the second time around, but is it still hard to believe it broke like that? I wonder if it wasn't properly finished? Very disappointed with this purchase.
