I bought this adapter because the bracket on the second shower head connection needs to swivel. This is the only one I've found that offers this great feature. I think the connector was meant to connect a hose, but I wanted something to attach a rain shower head. I gave this device four stars instead of five for two minor reasons: (1) The swivel part actually unscrews when rotated, instead it just rotates. It also cannot be placed in a fixed position as it seems designed to move under the weight of whatever it is attached to. I was able to find a downward facing position where it would stay in place and overall it seems to work well for my purposes. (2) The second reason is that the nut that attaches to the shower rod is incredibly short. I could only see two threads above the puck. I've used it anyway and it doesn't seem to leak so maybe a short one is in order. The device is a high-quality part without plastic. The button to change the water flow is nice and easy to use. Water seems to flow from both shower heads without restriction, so they probably don't have flow restrictors.
